1. INTRODUCTION

The International Journal of Economics, Science, and Education (IJESE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Pena Jaya Pers. This Reviewer Guide is designed to assist reviewers in conducting high-quality, ethical, and constructive peer reviews that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of submitted manuscripts.
Reviewers play a vital role in maintaining the academic quality, integrity, and credibility of IJESE.

2. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF REVIEWERS
As a reviewer for IJESE, you are expected to:
- Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and professionally.
- Assess the scientific quality, originality, and relevance of the manuscript.
- Provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.
-  Assist the editor in making informed publication decisions.

3. PEER REVIEW PROCESS AT IJESE

- IJESE applies a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed.
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
- Reviewers are normally given 2–3 weeks to complete the review.
- Editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s publication standards.

4. ETHICAL PRINCIPLES FOR REVIEWERS

Reviewers must adhere to the following ethical standards:
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts and review materials must be treated as confidential documents.

4. Results and Discussion
- Are the results clearly presented and logically organized?
- Does the discussion critically interpret the findings and relate them to existing studies?
5. Conclusion
- Are the conclusions supported by the results?
- Do they highlight the theoretical and/or practical contributions of the study?

6. Originality and Contribution
- Does the manuscript offer new insights or contributions to the field of economics, science, or education?
7. Language and Presentation
- Is the manuscript written in clear and academically appropriate English?
8. REVIEWER RECOMMENDATIONS
After completing the evaluation, reviewers should select one of the following recommendations:
- Accept (The manuscript is suitable for publication without revision)
- Minor Revision (The manuscript requires minor improvements)
- Major Revision (The manuscript requires substantial revision)
- Reject (The manuscript is not suitable for publication)
Reviewers are encouraged to provide clear reasons for their recommendations.
